Dr Emma Tremaine is accomplished at providing expert, informative and engaging talks and training on dyspraxia. 

Emma combines her unique experiences of training in multiple fast-paced and demanding roles within the NHS and having severe dyspraxia to provide impactful & inspirational talks that people appreciate and value. Emma's most recent seminar, An Introduction to Understanding & Managing Dyspraxia, was delivered to a diverse audience of parents and professionals with 83% of attendees wanting to attend future events.

An Introduction to Managing & Understanding Dyspraxia

I regularly run this training event for both parents and professionals. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the difficulties dyspraxic children and adults face, as well as how to support someone with dyspraxia personally or professionally.

Thriving with Dyspraxia

In collaboration with The Yoga Physios, we designed and delivered a 'Thriving with Dyspraxia' weekend workshop. 

The aim of the workshop was to help people with dyspraxia or suspected dyspraxia find new ways of understanding themselves and develop practical life strategies.

Dyspraxia Foundation - Adults Conference, Birmingham

The Dyspraxia Foundation has asked me to speak at their Dyspraxia in adults conference which is being held in Birmingham. The focus of my talk is Dyspraxia: anxiety, mental health and wellbeing.

This is a dedicated event led by adults with dyspraxia for adults with dyspraxia with they focus on raising awareness of dyspraxia in adulthood for Dyspraxia Awareness Week, 6 – 12th October 2019. There will be additional presentations by Dr. Sally Payne, Kerry Pace and Laurence Turner.

Dyspraxia can affect cognitive skills and how the brain plans, processes and responds to information. I will be discussing everything from supporting learning and confidence with motor tasks in both children and adults, to understanding and managing difficulties with organisation, planning and working memory.
